Grandma Gatewood's Walk by Ben Montgomery
« on: September 06, 2016, 11:59:08 AM »
Just finished this one courtesy of my local library.   It's non-fiction and tells the story of Grandma Gatewood and her experience hiking the Appalachian Trail in 1956....and more....

The mustachian take-aways:
You don't need fancy hiking stuff.
People, especially Grandma Gatewood, were way tougher back then.

I walked away from the book feeling like a pathetically weak complainypants, but with resolve to fix myself.
