How to Get Rich by Felix Dennis

Everyone has different foundational books that click with them. A lot of books pop up on many lists: Early Retirement Extreme and The Millionaire Next Door are two of the most prominent examples of books that are basically part of the MMM canon.

For me, one of these foundational books was How To Get Rich, by Felix Dennis. (I just wrote a review of the book on my blog, but I wanted to have a separate discussion of the book as it relates to Mustachianism here.)

One of my favorite Charlie Munger quotes about investing is "It's not easy. Anyone that thinks it's easy is stupid." How To Get Rich does the same for getting rich. And it's true for becoming merely "comfortably poor" (ie Mustachian) as well.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
