FU Money by Dan Lok
« on: March 01, 2015, 12:43:11 PM »
Although this book is for sale on Amazon, I got a free version by joining the author, Dan Lok's mailing list.  I actually discovered his site by trying www.fumoney.com on a whim and it was a real site.

This book reads much like the 4 Hour Work Week..  if you've read that book, then maybe 70% of the content in this book won't be completely new to you.  One thing that I prefer in FU Money over 4HWW is the more extensive and in depth exercises (i.e. figuring out your mindset about money, brainstorming your skills and business ideas, etc.) that the author offers plus the more urgent call to action.

Like 4HWW and MMM, Dan's hope is for you to quit the rat race as soon as possible.  Unlike MMM, he prescribes the entrepreneurship route in working very hard for the next few years in creating a passive income business that'll give you the cash flow to support an average or better lifestyle rather than building your nest egg by cutting back expenses.

What do you think?

Thanks for posting this-- Was there anything new to learn from it?  5 new learnings that we didn't get from 4Hww or MMM?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
