This is a book maybe most interesting for the engineer-type mustiachians out there, but I'd hope it would be interesting to anyone. Basically it's the story of how Interface, a carpet company, massively cut their environmental impact from 1994 onwards while still increasing sales, earnings and profit margins. It's a fascinating read, and I think is a great example of mustichianism in action. In this case, the inefficiencies had financial and environmental consequences, so finding them and cutting them lead to increased sustainability across the board. I really think of mustachianism as financial sustainability, so the idea of doing this really appeals to me.
If anyone is in a position of power in a company with regards to their sustainability programs I would highly recommend it as a clear guide to cutting waste and emissions. I look forward to hearing if anyone else has read and enjoyed it.
