Remember when many of you were DINK- double income no kids? Yeah me too.
Turns out we are going to be ZI3K. Zero Income Three Kids.
My husband came home early yesterday because he quit his job. I am pregnant.
Would be ideal if we were FIRE! We are not.
I am contracting until the birth. Due to my previous experience, I know I will be unable to work much post partum (because I have a mentally demanding career and can not function on limited sleep).
So.
Venting.
Wouldn't want anyone to stay in a job that was breaking them. But I am sad we didn't figure out how not to break him before he had to quit.
We have a nest egg which is supposed to be used for building a rental unit on our property. So we will survive. Hopefully he can build it at super reduced cost because he can do much of it himself.
