So my 22 year old daughter is starting her first professional job out of college on Monday. We are all very excited. I made a deal with her that if she saves 10% of her gross income in a 401K (job matches 2%) - and yes I will ask for proof - she can continue to live at home rent free. She already pays for a few things herself (cell phone, gas and repairs for her car - I gifted her a used, paid for car years ago - and I pay for car insurance).
Well, I just got a text from her that she got an "awesome" new work wardrobe at the local thrift store and she will put on a fashion show for me when I get home.
My frugal heart is singing!
