Anyone use the Blueberry Pediatrics subscription?
« on: September 23, 2020, 06:43:39 PM »
Noticed that Blueberry Pediatrics is waiving their enrollment fee.  Supposedly for $15 a month you have access to a doctor 24/7 via video chat.  I'm the first time mom of a two year old in day care who is constantly sick with one rash or an ear infection or something.  It would be nice to not have to take him to urgent care every other week throughout flu season, especially now with Covid.  But I'm curious if the cost is worth it?  Anyone have any experience?  And would you spend money on such a service?

Our pediatrician's office has a nurseline, so if we call after hours they can advise on whether a visit is urgent. The office is affiliated with the local children's hospital, and also has a kids urgent care center (and we have used both the ER and the urgent care). Most of the time the nurses are able to answer my questions and help me decide if immediate treatment is needed or if we can do a sick visit to the regular pediatrician's office. Does your child's pediatrician's office offer anything like that?
