Title: 12 y/o daughter went shopping with her friends...
Post by: SuperSecretName on August 10, 2017, 01:49:46 PM
and, while in the store, and without me telling her, looked online for coupons to use.  I'm a bit in shock.  (my CC, so not even her money)

She was also going to spend like 15-20 pre bra, but kept on looking and found the better deals.

She is not a natural saver, but I guess all the years of my annoying tutelage actually sunk in a bit.  She was proud of herself for finding the deals and using a coupon.

She also said how her friends mom took them to vineyard vines and got one shirt for $35.  She was floored that they would spend that much.

When your pre-teen makes a choice like this, you know you've done something right.

Kudos to you.
