Milwaukee, Wisconsin Mustachians?

I'm looking for other mustachians in my area that are interested in trading mustachian stories.  I don't have many people in my life that seems to share the same frugal minded lifestyle like myself that I developed through this site and I was hoping to meet other folks in my area that are in the same boat.  I'm a 36 year old guy that is married with two boys, 2 and 5,and live an otherwise normal life as a handyman and my wife as a teacher.  Drop a line if your interested.

Hey William.  Fellow Milwaukee area mustachian here!  The mustachian community is alive and well in Milwaukee.  I went to a meetup a couple years ago hosted by Goblinchief but have unfortunately not kept in touch with the real life community beyond that.  It was a decent-sized turnout and Goblinchief and his wife were great hosts. 

There is a tentative Milwaukee Mustachian meetup on Saturday, August 26th at 2pm down by the lakefront, if you're interested.  There are no other specifics on exact location on the lakefront but I can try to press for more info.  I only found out about this meetup through a Facebook group called "Mustachians on Facebook" that I follow.  As of now this event just has three confirmed attendees and several "maybes," including myself.  I'm not familiar with any of the names on the list so if I go everyone will be a new face to me as well.

I can pass on any more information to you here if I find out more.  Otherwise perhaps we'll be able to get together some other time down the line.

Hey Nate!  Awesome to see you here.  I do recall meeting you at the meetup hosted by Thegoblinchief way back in the fall of 2014 but I'd probably have to reintroduce myself as I probably forgot exactly who you were ha. 

I am a strong "might" on that as well buuut one attendee I did see on the facebook page that really has my interest in going was "Keith Tax Guy" who I believe is MMM's accountant from Appleton, WI and the writer of the blog "The Wealthy Accountant." (see links below).  As a fellow accountant I enjoy reading his blog and would love the opportunity to meet him in person as well as other local mustachians, of course!

Anyway, following suit with Nate on a brief description of myself: I'm 30, DINK, and also on the slow path to FI.  DW and I have expenses mostly locked down (a few self-admitted facepunches though), no debts, but my income has been stagnant as of late so I'd like to focus more on that end of things.

Hey Fellow Milwaukee Mustachians - add one more to the list.  I'm in the west suburbs of MKE, just FIRE'd on July 31st of this year.  Married, upper 40's, three kids in college and just beyond.  Would definitely be up for a Milwaukee meetup.

I've learned a lot here and at the MMM blog, and an in-person meetup would be a great way to explore new ideas and meet some very cool like-minded folks!
