I have a really low probability of being able to get to TO for a meetup then, but if you need to crash afterwards, we have room over here.

PM me for address/directions.

Very kind of you @Le Poisson !  I'll message you if I need your address.
I'm in Ann Arbor tonight.  Just heard Cecile Richards who wrote "Make Trouble" speak at the library here.  Now I'm all fired up!
Looks like I will make it to Toronto tomorrow - if anyone wants to meet up just let me know.  I'll be around til Sat I think.  :)

@Cannot Wait!  Were you all able to meet up? Thanks for ping, but I'm not in town currently.

Looking ahead, probably good for a meetup last week of June (21st to 28th roughly)

@CanuckExpat   I have a daughter just North of TO, so I went to visit with her and then came "home" to a housesitting gig in Kingston.
Guess I'll catch up with all the TO MMMers in Sept at camp unless the stars align before that somehow....

I have to work late a couple nights that week, though daytime on Fri the 28th is a possibility...

@Cannot Wait! - the rest of my summer should be less bananas at work, if you’re in the vicinity again hopefully we could make a meet up work before camp!

I'd love to join the week of June 21 - 28. I'm free any day except June 25.

So far the Friday the 28th seems to work for a lot of people?

Huh - On the 28th, the bike month event is "Tour de Dufflet and Balzac" - seems fun. 15 km ride with cakes and coffee.

https://bikemonth.ca/events/1819?location=all-locations

I still don't think I could make it to the city that week, but will update my schedule as the month progresses.

It sounds like there were multiple votes for June 28th correct?

My kids’ daycare closes at lunchtime that day so I have to be home while they nap.  😕 Hopefully
I can make the next one!

28th is first day of summer vacation for our board of ed. Yay summer!

I have a meet marked on my calendar as tentative for that night.

Does this mean you already have an event tentative that night, or you just marked our meetup into your calendar?

Never mind, I understand now. That makes at least two of us. Anyone else?
Suggested locations? Should we try east-ish this time?

Putting out the idea early, anyone interested in an August meetup?

The last two (maybe three) weeks of August work for me specifically, but don't let me hold you back from the first week of August.

I see Thu, August 29, 7pm – 10pm at Harbourfront Centre as an option

October Mississauga Potluck? Late October on a Tuesday or Friday? Or I can make a giant pot of something veggie and gluten free and feed everyone (I would do this part even if we call it a potluck because I like feeding people) . 18th, 22nd, 25th and 29th are all open for me so far.

I can’t do October (too many evenings away from home already).  😕  Maybe I should FaceTime in after my kids are asleep.  😜

18th is no longer good... But okits said she's a maybe for the 25th. @Michalit20 did you say that you're free before the 20th or before the 25th?

And I'm expecting an email from a camp friend in Mississauga... Who has contact info for yet another Mississauga attendee.

Leaving on October 20th, unfortunately. And might be taking a little trip to D.C on Oct 1-6.
Hope something works out, but please go ahead and pick the date that works better for most people.

I realize daytime isn’t great for most people but I could do Fri the 11th or 18th during the day or maybe Mon the 7th/Tue the 8th during the day.  This could be a different thing to keep the potluck as an evening event people can more easily make.

Hey Toronto folks, I hope semi-lockdown is treating y'all well. I've spent part of mine getting a blog going, about living cheapish/well in Canada: http://optimacheap.com/. Feedback welcome.

Only one post about making lard so far!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
