I checked the map and there are a few in the area. A search of the forum reveals only one meetup in the last year or so. I'm new to the forum but looking to meet with like-minded people. Let me know.

Lol, I guess it has been about a year hasn't it! I'd be down for another get together, and I missed out hanging with folks over the thanksgiving holiday.

I'd be interested in a meetup. My wife and I moved back from out of state and would like to meet some new people with similar mustachian mindsets.

I live in South City STL, I would love to meet up with like minded people. How about at Civil Life brewing in April 23rd at 4pm? I'm in the midst of my first tax season as a full-time accountant so will be unable to attend the March Meetup.

I'm new to STL (just moved here this week with my wife). We are staying close to the galleria, but will be moseying out to St. Charles by the end of the month. I would love a meet-up, especially one I could bike to ;)

OK it is happening! There seems to be a good amount of interest for a meetup.
Sat April 22, 2.30pm. I'll bring my slackline, juggling balls, maybe a home made dish, to Forest Park. We'll meet at the Round Lake, close to the intersection of Grand Dr and the trail. I'll wear something RED. If it rains, we'll have to figure something else out!
Come and swap stories, ideas, books!

I'm down for a potluck in a park, or a happy hour meet up. We could always do another Forest Park meetup, since I missed the first one. I've also started a thread in the ChooseFI facebook group about a meetup. Meeting in the shade will be vital.

We are meeting up for a small "potluck" (mostly finger foods so far) on Friday 8/18 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at DeMun Park close to Forest Park. Alex, I live in St. Charles, pretty close to old town. At least for the next month. My wife and I are relocating back to Alabama. We were up here for a work project. We are looking to get another meet-up in before we leave if you are interested. The ChooseFI group on Facebook has been a little more effective at getting people together.

There is a moderately newly active group on Facebook -- ChooseFI St. Louis -- we had a meetup last month, so I encourage anyone who is interested to join that group.

I'm really disappointed - I don't think I've received any auto-emails from this thread. Hopefully, by posting I will surely get future responses as I would be quite interested to attend future events.
I literally biked past DeMun park at that time on that day with my kids to see a free concert at forest park. I almost undoubtedly had to have even seen the group! I didn't know anything about it until a now out-of-state friend asked me if I attended. I supposed I'll join the ChooseFI STL group as well (love the podcast, not much for all the FB noise).

I'm down. There is also a ChoooseFI meetup the last tuesday of every month... typically at Urban Chestnut in the Grove.
On Tuesday of this week Anne Allred from KSDK (Channel 5) was there - story to air Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
