After returning from Camp Mustache II, I feel that Spokane could use a meetup. It was nice to be surrounded by other like minded people. It's time for Spokane to have a meet up group. Who's interested???

Weekends work best for us also. Did you guys run out of amazing costco cheese? I think imustachemystash mentioned she might be heading to Spokane in August. We could try for an August meetup or set something up earlier. What works best for you guys?

mmm costco cheese :) I'll have to check and see what else is going on, but I know the first, second, and last weekend of August are booked.

Hey if you guys feel like a little get-away in July, my parents have some property outside of Christina Lake right on the river, lots of space to set up a campsite or bring a trailer or what have you....it's only a very scenic 2 hours and 20 min from Spokane. ...Kayaking, campfires...BBQ... could be fun way to meet up!

I like the idea of camping in Canada but I don't think we can make that work this year. Thank you so much for the offer. Next year we plan on coming through Canada in an RV on our way to Alaska. We still don't have an RV yet. Then there won't be so many obligations, we will just be roaming. We will get a camping trip in sooner or later with you. I guess if we live in an RV it won't be camping for us, but will be fun anyway.

Hopefully we can get some Spokane people interested in meeting up and have a BBQ or something here in Spokane. There was a couple hundred views on this topic so stop lurking in the shadows and join in on the conversation Spokane. Who's interested in a meetup?

The meetup on August 8th was a great time. It's nice to meet others with similar goals in life. Between Camp Mustache and the last meetup, we have met some great people and are open to meeting some more. My wife and I would be willing to have another meetup if others are interested. If anyone is interested just let us know.

Maybe we could put something together for after the holidays. I had no idea others in town were into this sort of thing. Swapping stories, ideas and some good food would be a great time had by all.
Maybe you have a list of contacts from the summer meeting so you could help get the word out. We could even host at our place. It's embarrasingly oversized, but hey, we do rent out the Airbnb basement enough to pay the mortgage some months, so we don't feel too guilty.

Nice airbnb basement, that's pretty sweet. I wouldn't be embarrassed about your house it looks awesome, besides most people we've met on here spend lavishly in certain areas and slash the rest.

Our contact list is really short, it's kryptid who posted earlier in the thread and his wife. We will let them know about the meet up if they haven't read this already.

After the holidays sounds great and maybe a few more people will join also.

I'm close by, about 1.5-2 hr drive from Spokane, most weekends I'm fixing up my rental and it isn't exactly the best traveling weather, but if you schedule a meetup when the time is right I might make it up there.

Would March 25th or 26th work?
I found out I have to work out of town March 12-15.
Would that give out-of-towners enough notice?
If so, you can all private message me (I can host), and we can settle a time.
I rent out part of our space for Airbnb (neat story there, BTW), so I'll need to block off that date if it works for everyone else.
Other than that, we could meet somewhere else, if folks prefer.
We're pretty open on dates other than March 12-15.
Our place is kid-friendly, BTW. So bring kids, no need or a baby sitter.

My wife and I can make the March 25th or 26th work. Any time on either of those days should work for us. We can ride bikes or drive there in 5 minutes. I'll let those who are hosting or driving multiple hours decide on a time.
