SF Bay Area Meetup Group!

I'm in Redwood City and I was surprised that there doesn't seem to be any recent activity on here for any MMM / FIRE meetups in the Bay Area.  I was also  surprised that there don't seem to be any Bay Area FIRE groups on Meetup.  I'm very happy to try to get one going, so I created a new Meetup group with the goal of getting some Bay Area mustachians together in person!  Please check it out and join the group if you're in the area!  I'm thinking beers, hikes, etc!

Kudos on starting a local group, MattStashe! Looks like a cool event! Bummed I missed it.

There’s a ChooseFI: Bay Area Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1529303437150828) that occasionally has in-person meets. They have one coming up this Saturday in the East Bay.

Also there’s a Meetup group in the South Bay called FI Seekers. Here’s their Meetup page: https://www.meetup.com/FI-Seekers/ . Although it looks like they may be in the process of transitioning to Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/fiseekers) or EventBrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/o/fi-seekers-66821246243) They’re planning a hike on Sunday.
