With the small beasties at home and no extra adults around to watch them I'm not sure I'd be able to meet up. But I'll stay in the loop in case the stars align.

Not sure if I'm game or not, coming from Bellingham, but I'll keep an eye on the plans.  Be a lot easier once they put in that high speed train.  Unfortunately, not going to happen during my lifetime.

Sorry for not following up.  Things got a bit hectic (for good reasons) and I no longer have the bandwith/time to coordinate.  If somebody else wants to pick a date and place before the end of September, I'll try to make it.  Otherwise I'll try to set some things up after I'm back from my road trip in November.

We moved back home too! I'm in ferry distance of Seattle. Spring time meet up?

I'm in.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

Anybody want to do a MMM forumer meet-up either pre- or post- Camp Mustache?  If the group is not too large I could host in NE Seattle.  Or we could meet in a park somewhere.

@lhamo - Will you be at CM?

I'm interested in meetups in general.  I might be FIRE-exhausted after CM though ...  :^)

No, I wasn't sure what my schedule/budget would be like this year so I didn't try to get tickets.  But I figured a ton of people I know will be passing through town for it, so might as well try to do something adjacent.

My brain and life are a bit frazzled at the moment as I have been helping TheX pack, etc -- he leaves tomorrow morning.

Camp starts next Friday 5/24, right?  Maybe Thursday late afternoon/early evening for those who are already in town?  Or the Tuesday after?  Or both?  If we are just going to meet up somewhere public it is simpler.

Paging @FIFoFum and @Cherry Lane who I understand are Camp bound....

Interested if there is one that isn't a Wed/Thurs, I would also be game for a more regular meetup if folks were interested.

Hate to do this at the last minute, but the weather isn't looking good (supposed to be raining at 5pm) and my day has been pretty hectic already so I think I'm probably not going to come.  Didn't seem like anybody but @lucyclaire had confirmed they were coming so hopefully they will get this in time.

If anyone feels like grabbing a beer (inside) and chatting let me know. I had it on my radar and wouldn't mind catching up with other mustachioed folks.

No worries here.  I was just coming to the forum to post that I wasn't going to make it either.
Yes, the rain, but also I may be too retired now to cross 520 near rush hour.  ;^)

Gonna revive this thread so that it pops up in the feed of people who have expressed interest earlier.

I just posted another thread about a possible pre- or post-Camp Mustache PNW Moab-like meetup, but in the meantime I'd be down to seeing MMM people sometime after the holidays.  I'm partial to N/NE Seattle.  Not sure when my house will be ready to host groups (I;m in Lake City), but in the past Lake Forest Park Town Center's public gathering space has been good.  We could also do a brew pub type thing -- I like Ravenna Brewing, Growler Guys, and Eliot Bay Brewing.  Haven't been to Project 8 9 or Hellbent yet, but willing to try those, too.  Or we could do Chucks.

I'd definitely consider joining a NE Seattle brewpub meetup if I'm free that night! Ravenna Brewing has a nice space, Project 9 does too, and Burke-Gilman Brewing is a solid bike-friendly destination.

I would be interested in meeting some folks in person. I could do NE Seattle if the timing works out.

Hi everyone,

I'd also be interested in joining! I'm on the Eastside, but happy to drive over to Seattle if we're meeting on a  weekend.

Thanks!

Hi, I would be interested in joining a meetup. I'm also in the Lake City area. Recently semi-retired, still minorly self-employed with a couple small businesses.
