After reading so much praise for Colorado here by MMM, we are very curious to visit the area as part of our journey to find the next place to live. We are planning to be in CO for two weeks from Sep 4 to Sep 18 and want to do some couchsurfing to get a better feeling for the cities.

We are a mixed American/German couple and met a few years ago while living and working in Thailand. At one point we felt that it is getting time to move on, but being a mixed couple there is no obvious "going home" for us.
We are very close to FI, but we would like to work for a few more years (max. 4) for both, the additional stash and the feeling of being productive. We both always lived a very mustachian livestyle by nature and found the MMM blog about 18 month ago. We both agree with most of the things written here, but I am still amazed to see that not all of that is common knowledge to everybody.
