simonsez has a great point:

Is there a way to show all the pins at once?  Not sure if this is just a google setting on my end but I see two pages of pins on the left (non-map part) and the pins only show up if that particular page is referenced.  Love the idea though!

I had to look at 4 pages .... does anyone know if this can be changed?

Not without doing a bit of hacking about and using google Earth instead of Google Maps. At that point, it's no longer interactive. Looked a bit into this earlier this month. Sorry.

Wow, thanks for checking it out!  It is what it is, no need to be sorry.

Just as long as people understand .... I looked at only the current page first, then only after catching on did I find a few more people around me that were not on my first page.

I am guessing other people may found the same thing around them!

Thank you fitstash for creating this map.

Added myself, and was not so surprised to see so few folks in the SF Bay Area (5 of us at my count). It's expensive living here! But so worth it, me thinks.

<Modified 10 minutes later>Ok, I'm not alone at all... just found the large MMM group in my area http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/meetups-and-social-events/sfbay-area/100/.  How cool this place is.

In light of the poll here

http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/welcome-to-the-forum/poll-how-many-mustachians-do-you-know-personally/msg381495/#msg381495

I just wanted to keep this thread alive. I thought I had added my pin before, but it wasn't there. Maybe this time it will stick (pun intended).

Hi all!

My first post here - but I'll post in the introduction section too, I promess!

I just added the second pin in (western) Europe. I'm pretty sure we're more than that. An European meetup would be great!

Try it again. I just tested and it worked for me. Plus, the new Google Maps removed that limitation, so you can see everyone else without paging!! Yay! Granted, I'm still the only one in the Springs, which makes me sad.

Oh that's neat; the multiple page thing was stupid and made me not visit.  Glad it's much more functional now!

I did some cleanup (got everything in one layer, moved the default view of the Louisiana gulf coast to most of North America) while moving my pin from my old continent to the new one. It's too bad all the fun styles are gone now - does anybody know why that is or whether it's possible to get them back?

I'm still getting dropped on the Gulf Coast when I first click the link. Just off of Texas.

Is there a way to find out which states/areas have the most Mustachians per square mile? Or a way use a census overlay to figure out areas with the most Mustachians per capita?

Obviously, both answers are limited to those on the forum and who also took the time to pin themselves. Still seems like a fun exercise, though my GIS skills are way too rusty.

Saint Joseph, Missouri. 5% unemployment, but I don't get the vibe that people manage their money well around here. It's shocking how many pawn shops and pay day loan places line our main road.
