Denver/Boulder Mustachian Midweek Ski Club Anyone?

Hi folks.  Skiing isn't the most Mustachian of hobbies due to the expense but since there are so many of us in Colorado I'm sure some of you partake.  My wife and I are new to the area this year so I'm looking forward to getting out and exploring the slopes as much as possible.  I've got an Epic Local pass, so mostly will be focusing in on those mountains (Breck, A-Basin, Keystone, occasionally Vail/Beaver Creek). 

I'll officially be "partially" FI/Retired as of the beginning of next year, working Mondays and Tuesdays only...so I'm planning on mostly heading up on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Even before then I've got some vacation days to burn, which is preferable to me than fighting weekend traffic and lift lines. 

It would be great to have some carpool buddies from the community.  We live in Westminster, but if some of you are in other parts we can always meet at the big park and ride in Golden.

I'd be up for joining up with you.  I tend to go up on Thursdays to either Loveland or A-Basin, but could be flexible.  I'm coming from the south end of the Denver metro, so could meet you at the Dinosaur lots. 

Let me know if you are still planning on mid-week skiing.  It's pretty awesome to skip the weekend traffic, isn't it?

Hi Pika.  That would be great!  Do you want to plan on A-Basin next Thursday (1/21)?  We can meet at the Woolly Mammoth Lot at 7AM if that works for you? 

I've been going up pretty much once a week so far this year.  I did a Saturday at Breck once, and it was not nearly as enjoyable an experience.  Weekdays are where it's at.  :)

Anyone else is welcome to join too of course.  The more the merrier!

Next week I can't do Thursday, but could go on Friday (1/22.)  Would that work for you?  Also, could we do an 8AM meet up instead of 7AM?  I have to get the kids off to school first, plus the lifts don't open until 9 anyway.  Gotta love midweek traffic - you can get from dino lots to the tunnel in like 45 minutes!

Sure Friday at 8AM is fine.  I keep forgetting that A-Basin opens later then the other resorts.

Hey, I actually just remembered this is one of the rare Fridays where I have plans during the day.  What is your schedule like the following Wednesday (1/27) or Thursday (1/28)?  Sorry about that!
