Charleston SC

Hey there. Anyone around and interested in a meetup? I can selfishly propose locations on James Island, across the bridge from the peninsula, but open to suggestions that are even more awesome and convenient for where everyone is.

Hey. Welcome. I don't know if we count. Wife and I quit our jobs (retired?) last year and have been traveling and bumming around since then (is that slow travel?).

We are in Charleston for another month at least if you or anyone else are interested in a meetup.

It's a great city, been a lot of fun and beautiful January weather.

Hey all!

My fiancee and I just moved from the windy city of Chicago to sunny Charleston a couple weeks ago. We've been (fairly) mustachian for the last several years which has afforded us the opportunity to take this leap of faith and quit our high paying jobs in Chicago to move to our favorite place in the world. Our only problem... we don't know anyone here! But I'm hoping to change that...

I thought I would revive this thread and see if there are any other mustachians here in the low country who would be interested in meeting up? If I get any replies, I'll throw out some ideas for dates/activities. Even if there's just one other person out there, I'd love to meet for a beer or something sometime.

About us:

Me - I'm 29 year old guy and worked as an attorney in Chicago. Planning to get into the real estate industry here in the Charleston area. I have a lot of free time on my hands these days, so if anyone is FIRE and looking for a fishing/golf/kayaking/etc partner, let me know!

Fiancee - She's 26 and worked as a Nanny in Chicago. Next career TBD

Look forward to meeting some Charleston mustachians!

Field,
What part of town are you in? We go down there occasionally, to IOP, maybe this weekend.

We're in Mount Pleasant, near Bowman and Chuck Dawley, so not far at all from IOP. Definitely get in touch if you'll be around and would like to grab a beer!

NYE weekend anyone? Pretty open right now.

Did some fishing over thanksgiving, if the weather is right might try some of that. With little kids don't expect me to be a latenight drinking buddy.
