Hi!  There is a North Carolina thread on here....thought I would mention since no one else had responded to this one.  Some of the people in the NC thread are from SC.  We have tried to meet up a few times, but nothing has come about. I'm glad I saw your post anyway, because John and I vacation in the Charleston area several times a year and would love to meet other mustachians.

It's been eleven months.  I think it's worth trying again.  Surely there's appropriately located folks out there now.

Also, thanks Karen for the heads up on the NC thread.  I've looked at it from time to time, but Charlotte's just a little too far away for me.
