If only! Currently knee deep in snow and researching Baja as our first FIRE winter destination. Planning to drive down November 2023. If you have a mind to share more about the area and how you got there, I'd love to hear it.

Crossed the border at San Luis, near Yuma on Nov 4 with no problems. Winded my way down hwy 5. Appears to be lots of free/cheap places to stay. Crossed over with a caravan of people who have been before so couldn't have been easier for me. Left them to feed my pickleball addiction which took me to Los Barriles. I've been here 10 days now walking the beautiful beaches, playing PB, yoga, hammocking, eating delicious food, swimming and loving the fantastic weather.

Well that explains why a bunch of my pickleball fanatic friends were just in Los Barriles. I had only ever heard of it in regards to kite boarding. Have a blast!

I'd consider a trip to Baja to meet fellow Mustachians in 2023 or 2024.

We intend to drive the Baja again in late 2023, and hope to stay for a few months (instead of weeks) this time around.

I will update my journal once we get some plans semi-firmed up. We will be slow-travelling this time (last time was too much driving vs down-time to really enjoy the awesome places we discovered)! We won't be into caravaning as we will be working/schooling but would love to say Hi to other Mustachians if we are in the same area!

I'm still here... and will probably be back at the end of 2023 too... 😁
