Should I switch 401k investments?
« on: November 03, 2018, 10:06:20 PM »
My company's 401k plan is through T. Rowe Price. I am currently investing in the Equity Index 500 Fund, which has a 0.22% expense ratio. Recently, some Vanguard options were added, and I'm wondering if I should switch. They added the Extended Market Index (VEXAX) with 0.08% expense ratio, Selected Value (VASVX) with 0.39% expense ratio, and INT Stock Index (VTIAX) with 0.11% expense ratio. I don't know anything about the first two...would VEXAX be worth switching to?

80% of your current fund and 20% extended market would approximate the total stock market.
You could overweight extended a little if you wanted. Or add some Intl also. Maybe 50 current / 20 extended market / 30 Intl
