My wife and I decided we were going to TLH at the end of 2018 and sold vtsax. We cannot rebuy vtsax until 1/10/19. Those funds went into vfiax to stay in the market after we sold vtsax. Our strategy for our ira’s has been 100% vtsax. Then we sold the Vfiax (for a small gain) from our brokerage on 12/31/18, we plan on using this cash to front load our ira’s.
What funds can we buy in our Roth’s that will not result in a wash sale between 1/2/19 and 1/10/19?
