My former employer sent my 401k rollover check to my home, pay to the order of vanguard fiduciary trust company, and I need to send it to Vanguard to deposit into an IRA I set up for the purpose. The vanguard person I spoke to on the phone said to mail the check to them, and send a note along telling them what account number I want it deposited into.
Where do I find the IRA account number? I've looked all over the website. I don't have any statements (there's no money in it yet). Not sure where to get the number.
