What are these, and what are the risks? I see in Kiplinger's that the Fidelity New Markets Income fund 1 year annualized total return listed as 13.4% and the Vanguard High-Yield Corporate fund at 9.7%.
Most bond yields are low, so what's the story about these?
edit: I found this list http://news.morningstar.com/fundReturns/FundReturns.html?category=$FOCA$HY (http://news.morningstar.com/fundReturns/FundReturns.html?category=$FOCA$HY) and see some had negative returns, so there's obviously risk involved.
