I'm wondering if there is a good or bad time to move a 401k. I left a company in October, and want to move my funds out of the 401k. Just not sure if the market up/down will change when to move anything?
Seems like it would be a lateral move, if I move to a similar fund in the IRA, and there would be a net 0 outcome. Is this correct?
Second question: Should I move the 401k to the TSP(government thrift savings plan, low fees [0.032%], but more limited options), or setup a new IRA?
