I've been a long term customer of Chase.  However, recently have had issues with wires being blocked, fees being charged and not reimbursed, and overall just a poor service when attempting to send money.  I'm looking for alternatives for a personal bank in the US.

I have a business bank account in Singapore but looking for a good alternative in the US for now for my personal bank.  Any suggestions? Thanks.

Let me be the first of many to recommend Schwab banking.
Their ATM card refunds all fees worldwide.
Their customer service has always been top-notch for us.
Online billpay, transfers, etc.  have always worked for us (pushing and pulling money is free).
We have not used any wire transfers with Schwab, but I feel confident in recommending them for your online banking needs.
also, last year they had several bonuses available--Amex cards and DD for checking account.  We pocketed $600 cash ;-)

+1 for Schwab. Love it.

I have a friend who highly recomends Schwab. He's an American but lives overseas, and found it works very well for his family.

I have Wells Fargo. I wouldn't reccomend them nor would I say their bad enough I'd leave.
