The company I work for got bought out recently, and my stocks in the company got turned into cash about a month ago. I am currently in the process of moving the money over to a Vanguard IRA account. Not sure where the market will be in a week or two after it all gets moved over, but it seems like I'm buying in relatively low.
Theoretically, I could lock in the price now by moving over to our 401k, but it's got worse expense ratios.
