Referral exchange thread?
« on: November 19, 2012, 08:42:16 PM »
I searched the forum and couldn't find an existing thread. I don't know if there are any rules against it on the forum, if so I'll take the thread down.

So here are the rules : Post your referral and all the info with it, make it clear and easy to read.

I'll start :

Ing Direct Canada
Code : 35290447S1
Bonus : 50$ when you deposit 100$, good until December 31st. After that date, it goes down to 25$ bonus.

I like this idea, not sure if anyone will use it though. Here is mine.

Ting
https://zbr4qgelj.ting.com/
You get $25 off your phone, I get a $25 credit on my bill.

If you have any questions about ting send me a PM, happy to answer them. My wife, mother, and I have been very satisfied.

ooh, fun!

if you are buying anything through amazon, you can do so through the widget on my blog, and i'll get a small commission:

http://www.belesscrazy.com/

also, if you have a website with any traffic at all, you should add the widget to your site and sign up for an affiliate account! most months i make $10-20 for doing absolutely nothing.

If anyone decides to sign up for the American Express Blue Cash Preferred, I'd be glad to refer you and split the $75 bonus.  There's no link, you'll need to send me a PM with your email address, as that's how the AmEx referral system works.  If you have any questions, PM me, thanks!

Before MMM, I probably would never have even opened this mail, but it was about lower electricity rates.
Since I just discovered the extent of my super un-mustachian electrical ways, and am rectifying them, I was intrigued.

Looks like due to some new laws in my state, one can choose to change their electricity supplier. I have ComEd, who will still maintain and bill me, but I can choose Constellation to be the supplier. They are offering to lock me in to a rate of 6.25 cents per kwh.

I looked up my charges over the last two years. For a few months in the summer, it is 6.7 c/kwh, and the rest of the year closer to 8. My last bill was 8.1. Plus they are offering a 25$ visa cash card for joining (and staying a few months)

and have a referral program.
My link is https://home.constellation.com/?by=0BKVC
and I do get another 25$ credit for successful new customers.

Ting - Get $25 off when you start an account (including BYOD). Use https://z3hk954t6.ting.com/

Lending Club - get $100 when you deposit $2500. http://www.lendingclub.com/landing/invest.action?reg_referrer=Member_1690630&progId=2001

StableHost - Need webhosting? Check these guys out. I've been very happy with their service. I'm on one of the small plans and they've got me on a 24 core server which is currently only at 18% RAM usage! Get 50% off using coupon code MMM at www.stablehost.com
*PS. You'd probably want to sign up for a year since the 50% is not a recurring discount.

Bluehost - This is the service MMM uses for this blog. Message me for a referral link, sign up, and I'll send you $20 bucks (enough to pay your first four months).

I'm interested in the American Express Blue Rewards card - anyone up for a $55/$20 split?   Also does the $150 rewards dollars (after spending $1000 on the card) still apply?
$20 for doing almost nothing - anyone? :)

Canadians can earn cash back from online shopping (at sites like indigo, priceline, expedia, walmart.ca, and many others) through Great Canadian Rebates:
https://www.greatcanadianrebates.ca/Register/119166/

They also have some nice rebates if you like to churn credit cards.  I just applied for the Amex Gold rewards card for a $50 rebate + 15000 bonus points (convertible to 15000 aeroplan points).  You can also get $60 from applying for the MBNA SmartCash Mastercard, which also gives you 5% cash back on grocery/gas purchases for 6 months.

(I get referral rebates if you sign up through that link.)

I think I'll sign up tonight after work on that website! I don't know if I'll ever need it but it might be handy some day. What sucks thought is that I got an MBNA SmartCash card like two months ago so I can't get the $60 cashback. :(

Well, you can always sign up for another SmartCash card.  :)
But maybe wait until the 6 months of 5% cash back on groceries/gas is up on your current card.

Discover "it" card!

1% back on everything, 5% on rotating categories. They also have a gateway to online retailers for higher amounts of cashback (varies depending on said retailer). 14 months 0% APR, no annual fee. We both get $50 a signup bonus. So far I've been mostly impressed with their customer service, their reps are sharp, no bullshit, upsell or cheesy precanned lines.

PM me if interested!

Here is my Peapod grocery delivery referral link. Use it and get $10 off your first order. (I get $10, too.)

http://peapod.tellapal.com/a/clk/4qhCKK

Think paying for grocery deliveries is anti-Mustachian? There are potential savings, so it can mostly pay for itself in time, money, and aggravation.
  • No impulse buying
  • Plan meals
  • Your children won't constantly scream "I WANT THAT!"
  • Don't pay for cash/parking (hardcore Mustachians excluded)
  • You don't waste precious time doing your own shopping
  • The Peapod prices are lower than in my HCOL city, because the distribution center is in the 'burbs
  • Peapod is considered a "grocery store" so you get 6% cash back with your Amex Blue Cash Preferred Card

Do you have a friend who would enjoy earning reward flights as much as you do? Invite them to join Rapid Rewards®, and you can receive 2,500 bonus points if they sign up and complete a roundtrip flight booked through Southwest Airlines® between May 20, 2013 and July 20, 2013. And, your friend will get 5,000 bonus points!

You can refer as many friends as you want, and we'll credit your account with up to 10,000 bonus points (2,500 points per referral who enrolls and flies, up to 10,000 points).

If you are going to fly and end up choosing Southwest, shoot me a PM and we can get this done!

Here's a nice deal for Canadians:  American Express is offering 30,000 Aeroplan points when you sign up for an American Express Aeroplan Plus Gold Card and charge $500 in the first 3 months.  The $120 annual fee is waived for the first year.

Please send me a PM to get a referral--the regular offer is for 20k points, but if you are referred, we each get a 10k point bonus.

Capital One (formerly ING Direct) is having their Black Friday Sale again.  So for the next 96 hours or so...

Your friends can also earn bonuses if they meet the requirements. And if they open their accounts between November 29th and December 2nd they'll even earn sweet sale bonuses ($75 for 360 Savings when they open with at least $500 and $125 for 360 Checking).   So I get $20 if one joins, but apparently they bump it up for me if 2 of you join.  So really, if you were thinking of opening an account anyway, now is the time to do it and get yourself an extra $75-125!!

Here is my referral code:  https://r.capitalone360.com/f27nPrRD5f

Also, besides my Cap One referral code (https://r.capitalone360.com/f27nPrRD5f) if anyone is in Clark or Cowlitz Counties in Washington State and looking for an awesome credit union (Peoples Community Federal Credit Union, which pays 1.75% on checking and 5% on savings!), let me know.  If you get a referral from me, you and I would both get an extra $50!!  PM if interested.

Ebates is rebating 35% of the cost of an entertainment passbook right now, if anyone uses them.  And their rebate percentages are doubled for Black Friday.

My referral code:

If two or more people use my code I get a $50 referral bonus.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
