There should be a "Mustachian Cookbook" section in the forums

Because cooking one's own food is one of the core values of mustachianism, and because we are all always looking for new ways to turn cheap ingredients into amazing meals, shouldn't there be a place where we could share all of our recipes and refer to when we plan our grocery runs or need new ideas?

I have been thinking about this recently too.  For some of us, cooking has been a life-long occupation but for others, its a new concept.  Some easy go-to recipes (i.e. minestrone soup, casseroles, crockpot stuff).

In addition, there should be a list of basic tools to make cooking easy.  For example, you need 2-3 good, sharp knives and cooking is much easier.  Neighbor has a cheap knife set that contains something like 20 knives, but all of them suck.  Seriously, they are horrible.  Went to use one to cut a potato (basic veggie), and the blade kept bending, giving uneven cuts.  I wanted to punt the whole set in the trash.

I'll come back later to post the first recipe:

Buckwheat blitzes with sevruga caviar and shallots.  (Must be served with chilled Dom.)
