Whenever we add a comment to a thread, on the left hand side it puts our nickname, status, several boxes (depending on our status), picture, and number of posts. Why do we have boxes? Why can't the boxes be mustaches, or coins? SO belongs to a forum with the same software, and they have something related to the purpose of the forum.
