Title: Want more than five options for polls
Post by: MustacheAndaHalf on February 09, 2024, 01:23:21 AM
Polls allow forum members to answer a question anonymously, but currently polls only have room for five choices.  Could this be increased to eight, ten, or more?

Asking about NW, country where people live, and various other questions becomes rather difficult when fit into so few choices.

Do we really need polls?  They self-select for those who like answering polls, which is usually few or those who are on here quite a bit of the day.

My bad, thanks.  I've seen a fixed limit elsewhere, and assumed I was seeing the same thing here.

You are correct that polls are biased, but they provide interesting information.  The "Who are you voting for?" poll shows a very different picture than recent voter polls, for example.
