How to Post Photos from Google Photos

I've tried the [img] tag from the MMM forum along with a couple different links from Google Photos, but have been unable to see my photos when previewing a post. Help.

This is ... not how to post from google photos but you can upload to imgur without an account and post from there. See a recent post in my journal for an example, which will look like this without the asterisks:

I'm not sure if you just can't use google photos or if they are not publicly available photos which might be causing the issue.

You can't hotlink from Google Photos. You have to copy them to a different service like Imgur. Alternatively download them to your local computer and add them as an attachment to your post if inline placement isn't important (this is usually what I do).
