The "Show new replies to your posts." section not updating
« on: March 18, 2014, 10:30:03 AM »
Threads that I have recently viewed remain in the "Show new replies to your posts." section.  This makes it difficult to figure out what's new and what's not.

Have you viewed all the way to the end of the thread?

I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

My work computer does this, it's a browser problem.  After I hit the new posts button, then I have to refresh the page.  Annoying, but it works for me.

Are you using the browser's back button?  If so, the browser is taking you back to the page the way you left it when you clicked the link, hence, the thread still showing as new.  You can either refresh the page or click on show new replies again.
