Tapatalk bugs
« on: February 05, 2018, 03:52:36 PM »
Are any of these Tapatalk bugs the kind that we can do anything about? Or are they all unsolvable problems with the app itself that we must just grin and bear?

#1 Tapatalk displays duplicates of threads. Yes, I know sometimes threads are actually duplicated by their posters, and in such cases Tapatalk is only doing its job and showing the forum as it exists. But sometimes it takes a thread that only exists once on the forum and shows it twice. The exactly identical view and reply counts are a giveaway.

#2 Tapatalk links to different threads than the original MMM.

#3 The participated view is out of date order. This is the most avoidable of the three as it can be sidestepped by using the notify feature, which is fine and good. But how hard can it be to sort a list by date?

Those all smell like the kind of thing that the forum can do nothing about on its end. But I know as much about running a forum as brain surgery...

So I take it none of these can be addressed from the forum’s side.
