How do I intertwine Attachments and text in a post
« on: July 04, 2019, 01:28:20 PM »
I recently made a post and wanted some text then a small chart (attachment) some more text and then another picture (attachment). The attachments were not in the position I wanted, making it a bit more difficult to get my point across.
How do align attachments?

Attachments always go at the end of the post. If you want to embed an image in the middle of your post you need to use the [ img ] tags and host the image somewhere online.

This is a test.
To see if this will work for me.

 and the answer is,

EDIT, well, that kinda worked, If I right click and select View Image, I can see it.

Edit 2, I made the dl=0 to raw=1 and that made it work. My pictures are way to big, but I can handle that, well, my way would be to resize the image in paint before inserting.

Edit 3, I learned to add a width text to adjust the size, and it worked.

Thanks for the help.

That seemed to work. I changed the dl=0 to raw=1 at the end of the URL (as suggested here).

You can control the width of the image inside the [img.] tag (per this post). I didn't look, but I suspect you could also control the height (or both!).

Here's are a couple examples (you can indeed control by height!):
Code: [Select]

Code: [Select]

Thanks kingxiaodi,
I got the size reduced by changing link text, i.e.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
