Did something change on this process - https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/forum-information-faqs/how-to-ignore-specific-users/
I'm not seeing a way to actually ignore someone now.

I can still do it like this:
I click on my profile to get to that page, or select "forum profile" THEN click on the option on the bottom of the column on your left: Buddies/Ignore List
You have to change it to the edit ignore list and then add in the name manually.

Nope, the feature's still there in the same location for me. That said, that picture tutorial never accurately represented how SMF offered these navigation options to me, either, as I never remember ever seeing nested pop-up menus like that in my user profile, only an "Edit Buddies" link highlighted orange and a link to its right reading "Edit Ignore List" under "Buddies/Ignore List" that when clicked would move the orange highlight to it and give you the ignore list to edit.
Here's a direct link for you or anyone else to click straight to ignore:

Ok, weird.
So I wasn't able to quite do this because at some point I had "hidden" a bunch of my profile, with the two >> on the top left (which you can unhide with the << on the top right).

Huh, I'd not noticed that myself, or if I had, had noticed it years ago and forgot about it. That explains the difference in UI between those thread images and how it works on my end. Good thing that direct link works for both.
