Can’t re-login on one of my devices?

I did the unusual thing of logging out of the mmm forums on my iPad recently, but can’t seem to log back in.  Every time I try to log in, I get the error message:
 
“Your session timed out while posting.  Please go back and try again.”

But I’m not posting, just trying to log in. Retrying gets the same response, though at some point it also told me I tried to log in too many times and locked me out for 30 seconds.  But that didn’t help either. 

Any advice?  Ideas?

I don't have an iPad, but if it was a computer or Android device, I would suggest making sure you cleared the cache and restarted the browser completely.  And if that didn't work, try restarting.
