Can I save a new topic before posting?
« on: March 29, 2015, 06:31:19 AM »
Hi,

I am preparing a case-study topic about myself. But I want to do it properly (and as usual, I am noticing that as I am writing stuff down my understanding of it improves, answering some questions and leading to new ones), so it might take a while. Is it possible to save what I already wrote without already posting it so that I can later pick up where I left? I am currently just writing into a text file on my computer, but that makes proper formatting very inconvenient.

Not really.

Best idea is: Write it in a new post with the formatting, then cut and paste to notepad to save, then back into the post the next time you want to work on it.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.
