Can't log in

Having to post this from my cell.

Haven't been able to log in on my laptop all day. Keep getting the following:

Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again.

ID is saved for auto login but tried manually typing in too. Have cleared cache, restarted both browser and laptop  and nothing works. Was fine yesterday before all of the downtime for upgrades yall were doing.

Yep can’t log in at all from any device. I get the same error as above. Had to download tapatalk to get in.

I had this problem as well.  I can login now...  Not sure if it was fixed or if it was an issue with my work browser.

I believe its now been resolved, let me know if you still have issues!

Technical Reason why this happened:

The newest version of the forum software introduced some extra security features, one of which checks for your current session time (login period) to prevent certain kinds of attacks.

This checking code was missing from the theme code that displays the forum software, so whenever you logged in, you would always have a "timed out" session, as the check was missing.

This checking code was added which should resolve this problem.

It works for me now, too, but just a note that I had to close out of the browser first.

You clearly aren't banned (or you couldn't login or post, from any device)... I'd normally think IP overlap, but weird that it's only happening in one browser, when they'll clearly share one (unless you have a VPN just for that browser or something).

Clear the cache/cookies in Firefox?
