Banned message on ipad

I'm hoping the mods can help me with this.

I don't post much but I do read the forums daily. I went to read this morning on my ipad and got a message that I am banned for repeated violations of forum rule #1. It went on to list specific incidents that I didn't post. (Not sure if it's a case of mistaken identity or what.) There's no button to log out, to message a mod, or to request another look, and it says the ban "is not set to expire."

I am still able to log on on my computer, but I'm worried that will go away any moment. I've closed all open threads on my ipad and tried to get back in, but without a log-out button, I don't know how to reset to see if the ban was an accident that's gone away. The ban notification keeps popping up. I'm on vacation this week so doing lots of forum browsing.

Can anyone un-ban me? Or explain why I can still browse here but not on my ipad? I'm afraid I could be about to be totally locked out.

(I PMed arebelspy in my initial upset, since I generally figure he can fix anything, but if anyone else has an idea on how I could proceed that would be great, since it's a holiday and he may very well be busy.)

We got it fixed, but FYI if anyone else experiences this, it's because your ISP assigns you an IP address that was used by someone else that was banned (it's not related to your account).

If it happens, PM one of the mods with the exact ban message you're getting so we can narrow down what ban trigger you're hitting and try to resolve it.  :)
