Banned for trolling

I just tried to log in on the forum from my iPhone - I keep getting an error message telling me my account has been suspended due to trolling:

“Sorry londonbanker, you are banned from using this forum!
Trolling.
This ban is not set to expire.”

Is that a bug or was my account hacked? How do I get this banned removed as nothing has changed on my side and I have never posted anything that would justified being banned.

It looks like you already did whatever it was that needed to be done.

I have had that happen two or three times now. Logging in from a different device and/or clearing browser history usually takes care of it.

As the moderators have explained it to me, it was an IP problem, you were never actually flagged to be banned.

Well - I am now login in from a laptop which isn’t handy. Might try to clear out the history but I am conscious I don’t want to erase the passwords that are saved in my browser either
