Any way to bring up all new posts/threads?

On most of the other boards I read, there is a "new posts" or "new topics" button that brings up the threads in all sub-forums with new activity. I don't see it on this board, am I missing it? If not, could that functionality be added?

in the lefthand margin, under your login name...."show unread posts since last visit"

...which appears if you, in the upper right corner, have chosen to "expand" the header by clicking on the somewhat faint caret.

Along the same lines is there an option to follow a thread without having to comment on it?

Secondly is there a way to remove "show new replies to your posts" sometimes I comment but don't want to follow the thread

No (which is why many people just post a one word "following" reply), and no, not possible with this forum software AFAIK.

Captain and Mrs Slow, If you click "notify" next to "reply" at the bottom right of any thread, you'll receive an email notification with a new post, (just once regardless of the number of new posts, until you visit the thread again), but the thread won't show up in your posts.
