"New Posts" and "New Replies" missing

I'm pretty sure this has happened to me before, but I can't recall how I fixed it.  I access the boards from my computer.  The buttons for New Posts Since Last Visit and New Replies to Your Posts are missing.  I tried logging out and logging back in, with no luck.  Any suggestions?

There's a very light (white) arrow in the upper right (next to text "The Mustachian Forum") that hides/shows the user information, including those links.

No problem! It's happened to me before. Very hard to find that arrow if you didn't click it on purpose in the first place.
