I live on a court with 7 houses. My house and 1 other house are at max capacity so there are 5 other houses with at least 2 spare rooms in each. One of my neighbors is renting out a room with a private bathroom for $1,000/mo (we are in a HCOL area). What should I offer him for a spare bedroom in which I will use 4 days a week from 9-5? Currently he has 2 spare rooms sitting idle and he recently quit his corporate job to try to make it as an artist (so I know he needs the $). Thanks. It's impossible to use my small house for an office with 3 little kids running around all the time.
