Update: will be meeting with a man that has two such companies, one in CA and one in NV. Hope to gain practical insight.
I've done some medical recruiting for some home health companies. I know margins are slim and employee turnover is very high.
Some of them split their business into 2 parts 1) true healthcare, with an RN case manager setting up new patients and LPNs to do the ongoing. 2) the home support, where the staff is there for cleaning, cooking, assisting the patient in their daily needs.
The compliance is different between each, but I don't know the details.
I can answer more specifics on how we helped recruit staff, but can't answer much else.
