SkillPop - teach a class
« on: July 15, 2017, 09:35:16 AM »
More of a side gig than entrepreneurship, but SkillPop started in NC and offers classes in a few cities so far, but they're expanding.  Of course they need teachers for those classes.

I only wish I could come up with a class I could teach!

I am from NC! I went to college in Charlotte.  I am now in Roanoke, VA which is not too far away. Man, I wish they were in Roanoke, I am actually going to email them about this. Would love to teach a design class in person. Right now I teach on Skillshare, but this is all remote. You can see my profile in my sig. Hm... wow, thanks for posting this. I am ready to teach in a real class environment!

Seems like if it's something that can be taught in an evening, it should work.  I see they had classes on making pasta.  All I can think of is kale chips.  People seem to think they're hard, but they're not really.  But I can't imagine anyone paying a $25 class fee to make kale chips!
