side hustle bank account
« on: July 13, 2018, 12:25:17 PM »
Would you guys recommend getting a normal bank (b of a, chase, ect) for my side hustle business. And is it better to get a business account rather than a personal account

my personal accounts are b of a checking and a chased credit card.

Was considering a chase total business account (https://www.chase.com/business/checking) (0 fees if you keep 1,500 in) and a chase ink business (http://madfientist.cardratings.com/cards/91?trn_id=ck&ck_subscriber_id=57752968): $500 if you spend $3000 in first 3 months

Does this seem good or should I opt for an online checking account?

You aren't required an actual business for most chase ink cards. I just got the chase ink preffered card as a sole proprieter using my ssn (could get another one if I had a ein) and saying I sold commercial gym equipment and made 2k last year (which I have throughout updating my garage gym). 120K points (worth more than 1200 if you link with a airmile transfer or saffire card 1.5x travel) for 5k spending. You can get 80k+20k referral on that card as well. Check out churning reddit.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
