Hey Y'all!
As of right now, I slave away at a day job and have a robust side-hustle pet-sitting that I love! I also make soap and balms to sell on Etsy, and do some occasional house-sitting on the side. I have about a million other small business ideas in my little notebook too, but I have enjoyed having a "day job" to rely on.
Long story short, I have a lot of side hustles going on, but recently (about 8mo ago) I have taken over bidding out projects for work (at day job). I have found this process to be very natural for me, almost enjoyable, and very useful to my company.
Is this something that someone could have a full or part time doing? Bidding out all types (remodeling, electrical, printing, machinery rentals, etc) of projects for companies?
Is this a job?
What would this be called?
I ask because at some point I'd like to leave my day job, and this could be a useful venture for me at that point.
Any insight or help, or ideas welcome.

This sounds like a general contractor position if it was limited to construction. I guess you could also maybe call it consulting-type work?

Thanks for the input. I do landscaping bids for property that we own, I help with bidding out print projects for our advertising team, I bid out cleaning services to our remote offices, I bid out remodeling both for business and for residential properties that we own, etc. etc. It's odd, but it's been a growing necessity at my work... and I have certainly noticed how much they need it and assumed others might too (as in, I could go off on my own and do this for other businesses or individuals)... I guess I see the NEED, I just don't know what the heck it... IS, for lack of a better way to express myself. :)
