App developers
« on: May 22, 2017, 12:27:30 PM »
Hi kids,

What are some good resources for finding an app developer? I am looking to develop an idea into an app, and have zero tech skills. I need to find someone good, with an excellent understanding of English, etc. Further, how do I set this arrangement up to protect my idea and my product? Or is that not an issue? Anyone have experience with this?

Are you ok with hiring a foreign developer? I have used Upwork.com for hiring programmers for various projects. You can make them sign an NDA which will discourage them from stealing or sharing your idea. Let me know if you have any other questions

Yeah, I'd do foreign workers. I had seen sites like upwork, just wasn't sure how "honest" (for lack of a better word) or sincere or whatever the workers were. I will take that post as a bit of an endorsement. Thank you!

The only advice I can give is what was given to me - find people in the Ukraine to do it. They are usually less expensive, brilliant, efficient and easy to work with.

I haven't done this personally but this is what I was told by a few folks who have gone through several programmers in various parts of the world.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
