Not interested in a pedestal sink, if it was a half bath that would be fine, but this is my main and only bathroom.
Miss Piggy, you linked to the exact vanity I did buy lol. I bought the chelsea in Nutmeg where the sink basin bulges out. After measuring though it does look like it will still be awkward, just less awkward. I'm still convinced that half circle design, which was popular just last fall, is the best solution. So If I can find one, I'd love to go that route, otherwise I may throw in that Glacier Bay Chelsea vanity that I won't be fully happy with but it may be the best of a bad situation.
I'm at the office right now, but here are some pics I did take of the job and you can see my nice new service lines. On the left is my bathtub, on the right is the entry door. That old vanity was 30" wide by something around 22 or 23" deep. My bathtub isn't full size either, it's short. And the drain is in the floor, you can't even see the compression fitting because it was in the floor!. It will be cut and pipe will be ran up through the floor so the compression fittings drain lines will actually be in the cabinet.
That Chelsea vanity is 25" by 17.5" and the cabinet is actually only about 12" deep so it will be a lot less awkward than the old vanity. But I can visualize in my head pretty well and I still think the curved half circle would be the least awkward, I think it wouldn't really look awkward at all. The Chelsea vanity I measured everything out and pictured it in my head and I still think it will be a bit awkward although vastly improved.
I also decided to redo the floor and the toilet while I'm at it, then it's just a short jump to a completely redone bathroom.
